[GAME MAT] Cthulhu

Artist Notes:

Cthulhu is one of my absolute FAVORITE creatures. Lovecrafts imagination and lore regarding Cthulhu is so fun to learn about and even manipulate for various artworks.

I decided on creating this piece based on a thrill type feeling. Imagine you’re on a ship and in the distance, you see a large tentacled. humanoid figure with glowing red eyes… You’d question yourself for a moment, but immediately…you’d know who it was based on the Lore.

Ill admit, I got carried away in making him more muscular than dad-bodish…which probably would have fit better, thinking about it. But thats an idea for the next Cthulhu image.
